Working with clients in a marketing agency to bring awareness to their products
Mashwire is an independent agency known for connecting brands with consumers through strategic insights and creative executions. When I joined Mashwire, the agency was looking for a dynamic marketer who could handle B2C campaigns and accounts servicing for prominent brands mainly in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Healthcare sectors.
The role demanded proficiency in conceptualizing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across various channels. Additionally, it required strong skills in stakeholder management to coordinate seamlessly with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring that projects were executed efficiently and effectively from inception to completion.
Hired under the role of a Communications Intern, I was eager to leverage my skills in content strategy and project management to drive brand growth and engagement.
Digital Campaign Strategy and Execution with FMCG Brands
Spearheading the design and implementation of digital campaigns, my role was to assist in researching to meet the unique needs of each client. By leveraging consumer insights, I developed strategies that utilized online media channels such as hashtags, livestreams, and social platforms, as well as offline roadshows and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) PR blind seedings.
These efforts successfully generated over 2,500,000 impressions and significant PR KOL value per campaign, boosting brand visibility and consumer engagement.
I was also responsible for creating and managing social media strategies for five key brands (Yeo’s, H-Two-O, Pink Dolphin, Gaviscon, Nurofen), utilizing tools like Facebook Ads Manager and suggesting headlines, taglines, and caption copies. This initiative led to a remarkable increase in online engagement, with page impressions growing fourfold and post engagement tripling from previous metrics.

Stakeholder Management
Managing communications and expectations across diverse teams was a vital part of my role in Mashwire. This included collaboration with the creative and marketing departments, account management, vendor coordination, and client engagement.
I played a crucial role in ensuring close collaboration with the creative and marketing departments to ensure that campaign concepts from clients were aligned with overall brand strategies. In addition, I managed account relationships, maintaining regular communication with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction with our services.
Because of this, I significantly improved client retention rates and enhanced the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our project execution, ultimately leading to a notable increase in client satisfaction and repeat business.
